I've been busy graduating and moving for the past couple of weeks. Now I'm busy trying to find a job for the summer. Scott Soames sent me the syllabus for the first-year seminar I'll take in the fall - it looks like a good survey of analytic philosophy in the 20th century, including: Frege, Russell, Tarski, Quine, Carnap, Davidson, Kripke, Putnam, and Lewis. It looks like it will focus mostly on philosophy of language, logic, and mind. I didn't cover lots of this material as an undergraduate, so I'm looking forward to that. I plan to start on the reading for the course very soon.
Besides that class, I think I'll try to take a metaphysics seminar (team-taught by Kadri Vihvelin and Janet Levin). I'm not sure what the course will cover, but Kadri mentioned that they were thinking about dispositions. Also, Nathan Salmon will be teaching a philosophy of language seminar that I'll try to take.
We'll be moving out in early August to get settled in and sort of learn our way around L.A. before classes start. So, much of the summer will be spent apartment-hunting online (which is a terrible way to apartment-hunt, unfortunately).
Hopefully I'll have some interesting philosophical posts soon.

I don't even know...
I stopped by Subway today to get a sandwich, and was disappointed to find a sign on the door telling me they were temporarily out of bread. If that wasn't bad enough, the next sentence said
"We apologize for any incontinence this may cause."
That's right. Not "inconvenience"..."incontinence".
I mean, I was disappointed, but not that disappointed.
